Durable, smooth burnishing tools made of high-density black ebony; the source states the density is 1.3 times that of ordinary wood.
Features
- 3 shapes can be selected separately, or the One Set–3 pcs set includes 1 piece of each. Natural grain and color may vary on each wood piece.
- Pointed round head: 150 mm / 5.9 in, 5 grooves on the head—for leather edges. Slim rod: 140 mm / 5.5 in, 5 grooves—for small areas, zipper edges and card slots.
- Semicircular block: 60 × 35 mm / 2.36 × 1.37 in—for large areas and the flesh side of leather. Use with Tokonole for edge burnishing is indicated.
- The image parameters list the Round Rod as 25 × 150 mm and 49 g; the Slim Stick as 9 × 140 mm and 7 g; the Semicircle as 60 × 65 mm and 130 g. In the Slim Stick's photo dimensions the width is 8 mm, while the technical drawing shows 9 mm. Overall dimension tolerance is ±0.5 mm, groove tolerance ±0.2 mm.
- The updated Round Rod drawing shows a length of 150 mm, head width 24.5 mm, ring width 25 mm; the five grooves measure 10/5/4/3/1.5 mm from top to bottom, with groove root diameters of 17/18/19/20/21 mm. Profile radii are marked as R0.75/R1.5/R2/R2.5/R3, with R25 on the head and R6 on the tip. The 10 mm groove is intended for thick knife-sheath edges, the 1.5 mm groove for thin leather.
- The Slim Stick technical drawing shows a length of 140 mm, width of 9 mm, 10/5/4/3/1.5 mm grooves, R9 on the head and R4 on the lower tip; intermediate profile radii are marked as R0.75/R1.5/R2/R2.5. It is intended for round holes, concave edges and zipper openings.
- The Semicircle variant's photo dimensions show the base at 60 mm width and 35 mm height, and the brass T-handle at 30 mm width and 40 mm height. In the A–A section, the width is 60 mm, with vertical dimension marks of 32.58/29.58/3 mm, and a 10 mm center mark with R30/R3 radii. These do not fully match the 60×65 mm listed in the parameters; kept as a separate source drawing.
- Edge-burnishing sequence: trim the edge straight and smooth with a knife, apply the compound evenly with an awl or cotton tip, rub briskly with the burnisher and repeat until the desired result. On the suede back, apply the compound evenly and burnish with the block along the grain direction. The text states use with Tokonole; the image labels the liquid as edge paint.
- Photo options are the separate Round Rod, Slim Stick and Semicircle, the two-piece Round Rod+Slim Stick set, and the three-piece full tool set. The logo is laser-engraved, and the surface is repeatedly polished to a smooth, burr-free finish.
