DOMUS

History

DOMUS's historical roots go back to Talleres Roca, founded in 1922. Initial operations were related to woodworking. In 1933, the company relocated to a new address in Vic. The official chronology shows the link to washing machines was formalized in 1949. Machines began selling under the DOMUS and Acor names. Thus, the company's founding and the laundry brand's history are not the same milestone.

In 2003, Talleres Roca relocated from Vic to Sant Julià de Vilatorta. The new address is located in the La Quintana industrial zone. In 2015, the company's name was changed to Onnera Laundry Barcelona. In 2016, the production facilities were expanded for the first time. In 2020, a second expansion took place during the pandemic. In 2022, the original company's centennial anniversary was celebrated.

Today's DOMUS range covers washing, drying and flatwork ironing. Feeding and folding units are also offered for large laundries. TOUCH II controls are integrated with remote-connectivity capabilities. The ECO-ENERGY drying line is part of the product portfolio. Hotels, hospitals and self-service laundries are listed among the main application areas. Wet-cleaning programs for delicate garments are also developed. Technical training and commissioning support are part of the work with distributors.
