TERSUS

History

Tersus Solutions founded 2009 in Denver. Goal: develop carbon dioxide textile cleaning machine. Company built equipment and services around liquid CO₂ technology. 2013: partnership began cleaning Patagonia's Encapsil jackets. This work shaped ties with outdoor apparel. Later development covered processing of various textiles and fibers.

In 2015 work was done with the Belgian federal government on cleaning firefighter garments. Removing contaminants from protective clothing became a separate application area. In 2018 a cleaning-service model was introduced. At that time machine assembly and testing were brought in-house. Tersus presents this as a major shift in its manufacturing process. The service portfolio later expanded to include sorting, repair and recycling operations.

Fiber-fill processing is a separate technical direction for Tersus. The company prepares fill from used garments and bedding for reuse. A CO₂ cleaning process and in-house testing capabilities are applied for this. The current contact address is listed in Englewood, in the Denver area. Partnerships with clothing brands combine equipment technology with service operations. For this reason, the enterprise is not described merely as a machine-selling manufacturer. Technology, service and material processing together form the operating model.
