TREVIL

History

Trevil's founder Felice Mapelli was designing ironing machines from the 1960s. The official history presents this experience as the starting point of later product development. In 1983 the Domina steam boiler was developed. The unit stood out for its stainless steel construction and removable heating element. In 1984 an air-blowing function was added to the steam tables. That same year, initial and final stain-removal operations were combined into a single cabinet.

In 2003, materials engineer Corinna Mapelli joined the company. Her work covered product development and commercial direction. In 2004, the Treviform dummy was adapted for wet cleaning. The Princess Ultra dummy introduced a rotating front clamp component. In 2008, the TreviXpand system for the Pantastar trouser press was patented. This design is aimed at ironing trousers in a single placement.

In 2014, a shoulder-drying cover was added to the Trevistar shirt machine. From 2016, TreviTouch touchscreens were introduced on automated machines. Controls also cover fault detection and maintenance data. In 2024, an automatic hanger-feed system was patented. The current facility is located in Pozzo d'Adda. Customer sectors cover dry cleaning, hotels and textile manufacturing. Design, assembly, programming and testing are part of the same operational chain. After-sales support is offered separately.
