WUTA Carbon Steel Edge Beveler
Wood-handled leather edge beveler
Brand: WUTA
135 mm edge-finishing tool made of hardened high-carbon steel and solid wood.

Features
- No.1: 0.8 mm edge, for 1–2 mm leather; No.2: 1 mm edge, for 1.6–2.6 mm leather; No.3: 1.2 mm edge, for 2.2–3.2 mm leather; No.4: 1.4 mm edge, for 2.8–4 mm leather.
- Two-sided channels create the edge bevel angle; as the number increases, the skiving width increases. Results may be poor on very soft leather.
- A 30° bend at the blade tip, heat-treatment hardening, and an under-channel design intended to reduce marking the edge are shown.
- The illustrated application examples for the No.1/2/3/4 tools are on 1.5/2/2.5/3 mm leather respectively. These are not the cutting edge widths; the suitable thickness ranges are given separately.
- For sharpening, sandpaper is wrapped around a needle matching the channel size and drawn along the channel. In edge finishing, the burr is removed first, edge dye is applied with a cotton swab, worked with 220-grit sandpaper, the dye is reapplied, then 800- and 1000-grit sandpaper is applied; after the final dye coat, it is rubbed with a burnisher.
- Separate No.1–4 options, a No.1+2+3 three-piece set, and a No.1+2+3+4 four-piece set are shown. The dye, sandpaper, and burnisher used in the finishing example are not automatically included.
