Tool made of SUS 440 stainless steel for punching decorative rows of holes in shoes and leather goods.
Features
- 1+3 mm and 1+4 mm head combinations; 3-, 5- and 8-hole options. 3 holes for curves/corners, 5 for a straight line, 8 for a long straight line; you can remove two of the 5 heads to work with 3 heads.
- The prongs detach and swap individually; there's a hand-polished round head and a design that eases waste ejection. The black galvanic handle is shown for acid/alkali corrosion and wear resistance.
- For shoe uppers, wallets, belts, watch straps and small leathercraft. Suited to thin and standard-thickness leather; very thick leather isn't recommended. Force needed increases as the hole count rises.
- 1 tool or set depending on selection; the handle isn't included with a replacement-head-only selection. Use a soft leather anvil for the fine sharp tip, and avoid hard nylon and excessive force.
- Wipe off the protective oil before first use; after work, oil lightly and store in a dry, ventilated place.
- Prongs fitted in the pictured kits: 3-hole has 2×1 mm+1×3 mm; 5-hole has 4×1 mm+1×3 mm; 8-hole has 6×1 mm+2×3 mm; the 3+5 set has a total of 6×1 mm+2×3 mm.
- The add-on parts list shows, for the 3- and 5-hole, 4×1 mm, 1×3 mm, 2×4 mm heads, 1 L-wrench and 4 screws; for the 8-hole and 3+5 set, 6×1 mm, 2×3 mm, 4×4 mm heads, 1 L-wrench and 5 screws.
- A separate replacement set has 10×1 mm, 5×3 mm, 5×4 mm heads, 1 L-wrench and 5 screws; handle not included.
