Hand press for cutting leather and sheet materials, and for shaping wet leather with a mold.
Features
- No. 45 carbon steel; 1–1.5 ton / 2200–3300 lb pressure; 15 mm / 0.59 in plate. Recommended working thickness under 7 mm, stated maximum 10–15 mm; gross weight 28 kg / 61.8 lb. The upper plate is given as 260×160 mm in the specification and 260×120 mm in the working-area text.
- Two chrome-plated/hardened rods, two guide wheels, a long arm and forged needle bearings; asymmetric manganese steel base plate. For the 4.5 mm silicon-manganese spring wire, the manufacturer states a 550,000-use service life.
- Black oxide and plastic-sprayed surface, smooth screw caps; a height- and pressure-adjusting arm. Cuts leather, fabric, labels, plastic, rubber, film and paper. The die's edge must face upward.
- Cutting: place the material and die on the PVC sheet, bring it under the upper plate, press the arm and remove the piece. Shaping: dampen the leather, press it under the die, tighten the screw, hold for approximately 10 hours, then release.
- S—12 parts: press, PVC sheet, 2 screw caps, an Allen key/wrench, and 7 round-tipped dies. For comparison, L—34 parts is shown; the L box is not included with an S order. Ships in a wooden crate; the actual shipping charge is confirmed beforehand.
- In the S size image, the base is 38×20 cm, the height with the arm raised is 48 cm, the arm 32 cm; the red beam is 38 cm long, 5 cm deep and 3 cm thick; the press plate is 26×12 cm, 1.5 cm thick; the base plate is also 1.5 cm.
- S has 2 support screw columns, and the bearing assembly shows a 30 mm shaft diameter. The adjustment wrench is for correcting balance after long use. The images also show cutting foam sheet.
