Skiving and cutting tool made of heat-treated 420B martensitic stainless steel.
Features
- Width 35 mm / 1.37 in, length 185 mm / 7.28 in, thickness 2 mm. 6 types: straight, round, right bevel, right curved, left bevel and left curved.
- Has anti-slip grooves; a leather sheath you make yourself can stabilize the grip. The package includes a random kraft paper/plastic template, but no ready-made blade sheath.
- A glass plate or cutting mat is recommended for thinning; draw a guide line with a compass if needed. Spread polishing compound evenly on the grain side of a leather strop and draw the blade in one direction.
- The pictured specification gives a 12° cutting-edge angle. Set A is round+straight; B is right curve+straight; C is right bevel+straight; D is right curve+right bevel; F is left curve+straight; G is left bevel+straight. The right/left combo set has 4 blades: matching bevel and curve, round and straight.
