Features
- Short: overall 24 mm / 0.94 in, needle 12 mm / 0.47 in, clamping thickness 0–6 mm / 0–0.24 in. Long: overall 28 mm / 1.10 in, needle 18 mm / 0.71 in, thickness 6–12 mm / 0.24–0.47 in.
- The 0.7 mm thin needle holds position without enlarging the hole; the brass base has a non-slip texture. Especially useful on large projects to prevent stitching from shifting and to check hole alignment.
- When inserting or removing, pull the base aside rather than forcing the needle: the solder joint between the ring and the needle may separate. This is not an awl/punch or a rivet; it's not driven with force.
- The long needle can also close at 0–6 mm, but it won't hold the leather tightly.
- Needle holders are shown in gold and silver, with 10- and 30-piece packaging cards by short/long/mixed size. The per-size breakdown for the mixed pack isn't specified separately.
- The pictured method shows opening the lock by pressing its small lower tab, inserting the needle until it reaches the bottom, then releasing the tab to lock it. Keep the lock open when removing it too; don't force the needle out while the lock is closed.
