Desktop clamp that holds the leather in place during binding and hand-sewing, freeing both hands.
Features
- A: grade-A beech, steel and anti-rust coated iron hardware; treated with wood wax oil; 41.8×8.6×41.8 cm / 16.4×3.38×16.4 in.
- B: grade-A beech and steel screw; 180° adjustment, 10×5 cm clamping area. The source gives inconsistent dimensions of 42×8×45 cm and 17×3.35×15 in.
- Hand-tightened screws, adjustable clamping, two position holes, and a quick-release lock. Suitable for small jobs.
- The package includes the selected 1 clamp and 2 vegetable-tanned leather pieces to cover the jaws and protect the workpiece. Color variation/minor flaws in natural wood are possible.
- The newer size images show a height of 43.5 cm, a 41.5×7.8 cm base, and a weight of approximately 1000 g for both A and B; the A jaw width is 5.5 cm, the B jaw width 4.8 cm. The older A images give 41.8×8.6×41.8 cm.
- A's angle is fixed. B can tilt 180°, rotate 360° on its base, and lock into edge or center positions. A separate detail image gives a 4 cm opening, 6 cm jaw width and 5.5 cm jaw height; these dimensions don't match the other jaw images.
- Assembly images show the base being secured with a bolt, washer and wing nut, and the A lock lever being fixed by pressing down.
