Corner cutter made of quench-hardened carbon steel; features a black coating and a flat base for stability during vertical strikes.
Features
- 9 sizes: 10/15/20/25/30/35/40/45/50 mm; the number is the circle's diameter. Brand/size marking; offered for resistance to hardness, bending, rust and acid/alkali exposure.
- 10–20 mm: small card holders, short/long wallets, phone cases and a notebook's small corner. 25–50 mm: large wallets, clutches, hand/shoulder/waist bags and larger leather goods. Also for belts, straps, shoes, hats and DIY patterns.
- If the edge doesn't feel sharp enough, sharpen it before use. Hold perpendicular to the leather and start with a light strike, then continue to a depth of 0.5–1 mm; larger sizes may need several extra strikes with a steel hammer.
- This is a base tool, so the shaft surface isn't polished and may be uneven. Rust spots are possible with prolonged/humid storage, including sea shipping; the source states such minor marks don't hinder use.
- Wipe off the protective oil before first use; re-oil after use and store in a dry, ventilated place.
- Individual photo diagrams give, per nominal size/curve, the shown height (mm): 10/3; 15/4; 20/5; 25/6; 30/6; 35/7; 40/8; 45/8; 50/10. The source calls the nominal size the circle's diameter. In the 35 mm example, the overall tool length is 100 mm and the handle section 72 mm; this sample length doesn't apply to all other sizes.
- Photos show Set A as five tools at 10/20/30/40/50 mm, Set B as five tools at 10/15/20/25/40 mm, and Set C as nine tools at 10/15/20/25/30/35/40/45/50 mm. Individual sizes are given as 1 piece each.
- In the comparison diagram, this model is distinguished from one that cuts half a 30 mm circle versus one that cuts a quarter. One corner-sample photo reads 10/15/20 cm even though all main size lists are in mm; this photo unit discrepancy is kept as is. The working photo shows holding the tool perpendicular and steady against the leather; striking at an angle is considered incorrect.
