WUTA 3G Multifunctional Interchangeable Punch
Interchangeable-tooth leather stitching punch
Brand: WUTA
Third-generation punch made of 420 martensitic stainless steel; teeth are replaceable individually, so different hole shapes work with the same handle.

Features
- Heat treatment, hardening, blackening/rust protection and laser size marking; a black electrolytic coating is offered for resistance to acid, alkali and wear. The polished head and blunted-tooth design aim to reduce shaft wear.
- 6 tooth shapes: hexagonal 1.8 and 2.0 mm; diamond 2.4 mm; round awl 1.0 mm; olive-shaped 2.1 mm; hollow round 1.0 mm. Pitches: 3.0 / 3.38 / 3.85 / 4 / 5 / 6 mm; 2/4/5/6/7/8/9/10 teeth.
- The set includes pre-fitted round-awl teeth and separately fittable 2.0 mm hexagonal teeth; other shapes are bought separately. A broken tooth doesn't require replacing the shaft.
- The round awl gives a smaller hole and finer stitching, while the hollow round head gives a larger hole and easier sewing. Rotating the hexagonal tooth 90° changes the slant direction, allowing matching holes on both sides of the leather.
- The normal direction slants up from left to right, the reverse direction slants down; meant for a double-wave stitch. The source states the marks after assembling a bag are smaller than the typical French style.
- For heavy leather goods, hand saddle stitching, joining thick leather, sofa/seat covers and reverse stitching; Saddle, Single, Z, Baseball/V, Butt, Cross, Box and French stitching methods are listed.
- 1–2 teeth are for corners/short distances, 5–10 teeth for long/short straight lines; to avoid drifting off the line, align with the previous two holes when continuing.
- A small pitch gives tight/fine stitching; a large pitch gives more spaced stitching for thick leather, large bags and big items. 3.0 mm pitch — 0.45 mm thread: wallets, card holders, watch straps, small work; 3.38 mm — 0.55 mm thread: wallets, card holders, medium bags and belts.
- 3.85 mm — 0.65 mm thread: large wallets, hand/shoulder bags and belts. 4 mm — 0.65 mm thread: bags, belts, handbags. 5–6 mm — 0.8–1 mm thread: large, travel and tool bags.
- Excess force and a hard mat can damage the sharp tip; use a soft mat such as leather.
- Wipe off the protective oil before first use; re-oil after work and store in a dry, ventilated place.
- In the set photos, a single tool includes as many pre-fitted round-awl tips as its tooth count, an equal number of separate hexagonal tips, and 1 L-shaped wrench. In the multi-tool set, total tips per type are: 3 mm 2+5+10—17, 2+10—12; 3.38 mm 2+5+9—16, 2+9—11; 3.85 mm and 4 mm 2+4+8—14, 2+8—10; 5 mm 2+7—9; 6 mm 2+6—8. Multi-tool set photos also show 3 extra screws.
- Spare-tip photos: 1.8 and 2.0 mm hexagonal — 12 pieces each option; olive and diamond shapes — 12 each; 1.5 mm round tip — 20; another round-tip set — 60; side-opening hollow round punch tip — 20. These spare sets have no shaft; the photo shows 1 L-wrench and 3 screws.
- The text and the general hole comparison call the round tip 1.0 mm; several set and spare-tip photos list 1.5 mm. Both sizes appear in the source and are not assumed to refer to the same tip.
- The illustrated usage guide shows striking vertically with a nylon mallet and using a thick cutting mat to protect the teeth; don't apply excessive force to the fine sharp tip. In the tip-replacement diagram, the screw is loosened with a wrench, the tip removed and swapped, and then re-fastened.
