Features
- Adapter pitches 3 / 3.38 / 3.85 / 4 / 5 / 6 mm; the source shows a total of 36 combinations across 6 tooth types. The exact set depends on the chosen variant.
- Polished heads change to French hexagonal, round awl, hollow round, diamond and olive shapes. A damaged tooth thread can be replaced without changing the shaft.
- The shaft joins various pitch adapters and teeth. Shaftless options are also available; only the ordered shape/pitch and parts are shipped. Gift packaging is shown.
- Don't apply excessive force to the fine sharp tip; use a soft protective mat such as leather.
- Wipe off the protective oil before first use; re-oil for storage and keep it in a dry, ventilated place.
- Two shaft options exist: for the 2-tooth adapter and for the 6–10-tooth adapters; each is 1 piece, sold without adapter/teeth. Adapters at 3 mm hold 2/10, at 3.38 mm 2/9, at 3.85 and 4 mm 2/8, at 5 mm 2/7, and at 6 mm 2/6 teeth, as individual or paired-set options.
- The dual-adapter set cards show 20 round awl, 20 hollow round, 12 pieces of 2.0 mm hexagonal, and 12 diamond heads — 64 spare heads total; the shaft is not included.
- Separate head packages: 1.8 and 2.0 mm hexagonal, 2.1 mm olive and 2.4 mm diamond in packs of 12; round awl in packs of 20/60; side-slotted hollow round in packs of 20/60. The round-awl card lists 1.5 mm, while the punch sample shows 1.0 mm.
- To fit a head: loosen the adapter screws with the small wrench, insert the teeth all facing the same way and tighten. With the large wrench, loosen the shaft's side screws counterclockwise, slide the adapter into the shaft's protruding channel, align the surfaces and tighten the screws clockwise. Rotating the hexagonal tooth 90° gives an opposite slant mark.
