Top-grain cowhide cord cut from full Crazy Horse leather; oil-chrome tanned with a pull-up finish.
Features
- 3 or 5 mm width; thickness 1.5–2.0 mm / 4–5 oz; length 1/5/10 m, 4 colors. Hand measurement can vary by about 0.2 mm. The header sample gives 3 mm as roughly 1/8 inch.
- Vat dyeing for even penetration/color and resistance to fading/wear. One side is smooth, the other napped; elastic and sturdy cord.
- Used for bracelets, necklaces, earrings, belts, hat bands, shoe/boot laces, shoe decoration, bag/clutch edging, keychains, baseball glove repair, macrame, sofas and clothing accessories. Longer lengths are available on request.
- In the source's material comparison, genuine leather's burnt smell is likened to hair, with ash residue; faux leather is said to give off a sharp odor and leave a hard residue.
