Features
- 3/4 mm spacing, with 1/2/4/6 prongs per step; overall 94–105 mm. 3 mm: 10×1.5 mm tooth, thread 0.35–0.55 mm. 4 mm: 10×2 mm tooth, thread 0.45–0.77 mm. Hand-polishing can cause 0.2–0.5 mm variance in the spacing.
- A lightly polished surface makes piercing and pulling out easier. Use a soft cutting mat, a perpendicular grip and a plastic/nylon mallet. Pull straight out without rocking sideways; for leather too thick to remove easily, a wider tool is recommended instead.
- Oil and cover for storage. Steel cutting lines may remain on the surface; the package matches the selected variant.
- The stitching samples show a total thickness of just 2.4 mm and 4 mm across two glued leather layers, both worked with a 4 mm tooth pitch and 0.55 mm WUTA thread. These are illustrative samples, not a maximum thickness limit.
- Separate 1/2/4/6-prong tools are shown for each of the 3 and 4 mm pitches, plus a 2+6-prong dual set and a 1+2+4+6-prong four-piece set.
