- Shipped with rust-preventive oil; minor manufacturing marks may be present on the surface; for hand installation and portable work.
- The photo presents the tools as high-carbon steel with a polished surface. A four-piece set is shown for one chosen snap size, consisting of two strikers and two anvils.
- First, a hole is punched in both leather pieces. The cap and its socket are joined and struck on the matching anvil; then the post and counter cap are secured on the other anvil. The snap, leather, hammer and punch shown in the sample are not included in the kit.
