Features
- For forming the rivet tip into a smooth half-dome shape. Corrosion/wear resistant and scratch-free surface; a mold matching the chosen shaft diameter is required.
- The text gives sizes as L—4 mm, M—3.3 mm, S—6 mm shaft, while the cap is labeled 4/5/6 mm. This discrepancy should be clarified at order time.
- Work with a metal anvil and a metal hammer: insert the rivet into the leather hole, press the collar onto the material with the cylindrical tool, trim the excess shaft to 2–3 mm, and strike into a half-dome with the forming head.
- Rivets, hammer, hole punch, pliers and other tools shown in the photo are not included.
- In this page's photos, shaft diameter matches L/1#—4 mm, M/2#—3.3 mm, S/3#—2 mm rivet shaft. The double-size set is L+M, the triple set is L+M+S.
