Features
- Choice of 20 sets; each set has 2 caps, 1 stud part and 1 socket. Colors: gold, light gold, white nickel, white chrome, bronze, gun-black and copper.
- 12.5 mm cap: 5.9 mm / 7/32 in post, for leather 1.5–2.4 mm. 15 mm cap: 6.8 mm / 1/4 in post, for leather 2.2–3.8 mm. The source also gives 1/4 in next to the 12.5 mm cap size and 9/16 in next to the 15 mm size; these conversions do not match.
- A setting die is not included. About 1 mm hand-measurement variance; color differences due to light/monitor are possible.
- Brass oxidizes slowly; tiny dark spots after shipping take on an antique look with use. The source shows polishing with vinegar.
- The source's sales terms show a 10% discount for 3 or more packages of the same spec.
- In the illustrated setup, the leather is punched, the first cap is inserted in the hole, the opposite part placed on top, and joined over the base support with the matching setting tool. The other side's cap and opposite part are fastened the same way; then the two sides are snapped together. Hammer, punch and setting tools are for demonstration only.
- The color photo lists Gun-Black, Nickel, Bronze, Brass, Gold, Light-Gold and Chrome; the color the main text calls Copper is labeled Brass in the photo. Exact order variants are kept as given.
