A blackened carbon-steel end punch; available in 11 sizes: 5/8/10/15/20/25/30/35/40/45/50 mm.
Features
- Heat-treated sharp edge, size marking, treated for wear/rust resistance. For creating a centered round tip on belts, straps, bags, wallets, card holders, watch straps, shoes, hats and DIY patterns.
- Strike perpendicular to the surface, lightly first, then per the source to a depth of 0.5–1 mm; continue if not cut through. Caps larger than 15 mm may need an additional metal-hammer strike.
- A base tool: the unpolished edge is rough, and long humid storage/shipping may leave some rust marks; the source presents these as marks that do not hinder use. A 1–2 mm variance is possible in hand measurement.
- Wipe off the protective oil before first use; when storing, re-oil and keep in a dry, ventilated place.
- The sizing explanation states the nominal number is the diameter of the base circle used, and that this tool cuts a half circle while a separate corner tool cuts a quarter circle. Individual tools are packaged separately.
