A natural vegetable-tanned cowhide called Pueblo; irregular pieces with selectable area options.
Features
- 1.8–2.5 mm / 4.5–6.25 oz, with about 0.2 mm variance by section; not overly stiff, a special matte/sanded surface. Cut lengthwise or crosswise from whole hide; since no specific area is selected, the required length must be agreed beforehand.
- 14 colors: navy, black, orange, olive green, red, gray, brown, golden brown, coffee tone, yellow, peacock blue, dark green, pink and purple. Free thinning is available for a final thickness of 1.0 mm and above.
- High oil content; the manufacturer states no additional oiling is needed. It smooths, darkens and gains sheen with use/friction. It can be polished with a cotton cloth, and the edge with a wooden slicker.
- For wallets, handbags and other leather goods. Natural grain, wrinkles, minor scratches/scars and light/screen color differences are possible; large custom cuts can be arranged.
- The title gives a 1/3 sq.ft option notation, while the chart explains the 3 sq ft ≈ 2700 cm² area portion; for 1 sq ft, a source figure of about 900 cm² is used.
- The image's spec card shows a thickness of 2.0–2.2 mm; this differs from the 1.8–2.5 mm range in the product text. The special sanded/frosted texture is called the Fireworks Effect; the surface lines seen in the image are part of this texture.
- Due to natural dyeing, slight color transfer is possible on first use; it is recommended to keep it separate from light-colored fabric. Color may vary batch to batch. In the photos, New-Black is named separately as a new black tone.
- The stored variants confirm that the 1/3 mark in the title refers to a 1 or 3 sq ft option, not one-third of a square foot. Both areas come in 1.0 / 1.5 / 2.0 mm and 1.8–2.5 mm thicknesses.
