The U series is a vertical-type steam generator that Puravion offers together with Certuss. The water-tube (coil) design reaches full power from a cold start in as little as 5 minutes. The forced-flow design responds instantly to changes in steam demand, so only as much steam as needed is produced. The 'TC' in the name stands for 'Touch Control' — touchscreen operation. The series includes five models, from U700 to U2000.

- Steam capacity of up to 16 tons/hour with cascade connection; when one unit is taken for maintenance, the others continue operating.
- An additional unit can be added later to an existing installation to increase capacity.
- Touchscreen and a simple menu; the system connects to the facility's central control system (CCS).
