The MIURA MIN-03 is a carbon-dioxide-based neutralizer that neutralizes alkaline boiler blowdown water with CO₂ instead of hydrochloric or sulfuric acid. Its buffering action around pH 6.5 reduces the risk of over-acidification, and neutralization is controlled automatically and continuously.

- Carbon dioxide gas is mixed into the alkaline boiler blowdown water; strong acids such as hydrochloric or sulfuric acid are not used.
- The buffering effect around pH 6.5 is designed to reduce the risk of excessive pH drop from over-dosing.
- Water temperature in the tank is continuously measured; cooling water is supplied automatically when the temperature rises.
- The discharge tank can be installed below or above ground; above-ground installation requires an additional motorised valve.
- Continuous neutralisation is automatically controlled; the outlet water pH is set according to the standard.
- The MIN-03 diagram shows a cooling-water solenoid valve and filter, a water-level electrode, a thermocouple, and an additional filter before neutralisation.
