Leather Burnishing Gum is a water-based, colorless edge-burnishing product made from natural wax and polymers.
Features
- For the edges and flesh side of vegetable- and chrome-tanned leather; suitable for belts, watch straps and handmade items. Designed to create an elastic, glossy surface resistant to water, harsh environments, weather and friction.
- Test compatibility on a small, inconspicuous area first.
- Shape the edge to a half-round or rectangular profile with an edge beveller. Apply a thin coat with a felt dauber or sponge and wait 10–20 seconds.
- Burnish with a slicker or a clean cloth. As friction warms and dries the edge, it darkens slightly and gains shine; repeat until the desired tone and gloss are reached.
