Leather Colour Restorer Brown — a ready-to-use leather restoration dye in brown, available as a kit option.
Features
- A ready-to-use, self-cross-linking polyurethane-based formula that combines an adhesion component, dye, topcoat, and texture modifiers; designed to bond without a separate hardener or lacquer.
- For colour restoration of painted genuine leather, vinyl and eco-leather, minor scratch/abrasion touch-up, quick repairs and custom colouring. Recommended for car interiors, furniture, footwear, clothing and accessories.
- The dye can be purchased separately or as a kit. The kit includes the Leather Colour Restorer in the chosen colour, a 28 × 28 cm Leather Cleaning Wipe, a 28 × 28 cm heavy-duty stain/grease-removal wipe, and 5 application sponges.
- Estimated consumption for dyeing one car seat is about 60 ml. Formulated to preserve elasticity and texture, resist temperature and wear, and prevent the colour from washing out or cracking.
- Colour: Brown. The manufacturer's page gives the matching reference as RAL 8002 Signal brown; on-screen colour may differ. For an exact match, it is recommended to rely on the RAL code and custom colour mixing.
- Not suitable on its own for structural repair of complex peeling, tears, coating-layer marks or cracks; experience shows additional Leather Light Filler and Heavy Filler are required.
- Test compatibility on a small, inconspicuous area before full application.
- First clean and degrease the surface. For restoring minor damage and colour; a car seat, armrest and steering wheel are also example applications.
- Dyes can be mixed to get closer to the exact shade; for spot dyeing when the colour code is unknown, custom colour matching is recommended.
- Depending on coat thickness and conditions, the surface starts to dry in 15–30 minutes; full curing takes 24–48 hours depending on the area and item.
