Leather Oil Dye is a dye for vegetable-tanned leather that combines oils with penetrating colorants.
Features
- For new hand-dyed items and color restoration on old aniline/pull-up leather; for belts, watch straps and handmade leather goods. Aimed at creating a deep, even color, a soft velvety touch, light sheen and light-fastness.
- Can be further sealed with a suitable topcoat.
- Test compatibility on a small, inconspicuous area first.
- Clean and prepare with Ultimate Cleaner. Apply even coats with a felt dauber, sponge or other suitable method, and wait for full absorption.
- Once absorbed, buff with a lint-free cloth; for a deeper, more saturated color, apply an additional coat.
