Leather Grain Repair Set is a kit for texture repair on genuine and synthetic leather, vinyl and plastic surfaces.
Features
- Includes: Leather Grain Copier, Vinyl & Leather Weld, and a Leather Grain Copier Gun for dosing/mixing.
- Test each component on a small, inconspicuous area before full application.
- Choose a clean, dry, undamaged donor area. Load the Leather Grain Copier cartridge into a suitable gun and fit the mixing nozzle; dispense and mix the two components equally.
- Apply a small amount of compound onto the donor leather/plastic and spread quickly with a spatula, thin and even. A thinner layer cures faster; full curing takes 1–5 minutes.
- Carefully lift from the edge to take the negative mold of the original texture. Press the mold onto Vinyl & Leather Weld applied to the damaged area to transfer the texture; the same type of mold can be reused on similar surfaces multiple times.
- Carefully remove the resulting mold and use it with Vinyl & Leather Weld on the damaged area; intended for car seats, sofas, bags and other leather goods.
