Dye Mix is an additive/thinner mixed with Leather Aniline Dye that improves penetration and dye stability within the fibers.
Features
- For aniline, suede, nubuck, pull-up leather and natural fabric; not suitable for synthetic fabric. For new hand-dyeing and restoring old material while preserving softness and reducing color transfer. The source states the compound fixes the dye in the fibers.
- Test compatibility on a small, inconspicuous area first.
- Shake well, clean and prepare the surface. Add up to 30% Dye Mix to the aniline dye; a different ratio is allowed if needed. Apply with a sponge or spray gun; several coats can be applied to even out the color.
