Leather Resist & Seal CRAFT LINE is an elastic lacquer that enhances and protects the contrast of the antique effect on leather.
Features
- Used together with Leather Antique Gel: areas coated with lacquer beforehand limit the gel's absorption, so recessed patterns take on more color.
- Designed to create a coating resistant to moisture, dirt, UV/fading, scratches, wear and solvents. For leather belts, watch straps, vegetable-tanned and hand-crafted leather; not suitable for suede/nubuck.
- Test compatibility on an inconspicuous area beforehand.
- Shake, then clean and prep with Ultimate Cleaner. Before the Antique Gel, apply it to the selected areas with an application sponge or felt dauber.
- After coloring or gel application, an even spray with an airbrush/spray gun is recommended as the final protective coat; a thick layer can alter the color and stiffen the leather.
- Varies with temperature and humidity: use is permitted after approximately 2–3 hours, with full curing in 8–12 hours.
