Leather Colour Restorer Cream — a ready-to-use leather restoration dye in cream, available as a kit option.
Features
- A self-cross-linking polyurethane-based ready-to-use compound that combines an adhesion component, dye, top coat and texture modifiers; it is designed to bond without a separate hardener or lacquer.
- For color restoration of pigmented genuine leather, vinyl and eco-leather, minor scratch/scuff touch-up, fast repairs and custom coloring. Indicated for automotive interiors, furniture, footwear, clothing and accessories.
- The dye can be purchased separately or as a kit. The kit includes the Leather Colour Restorer in the selected color, a 28 × 28 cm Leather Cleaning Wipe, a 28 × 28 cm heavy-duty stain/grease removal wipe, and 5 application sponges.
- The estimated consumption for coloring one car seat is 60 ml. It is formulated to preserve elasticity and texture, resist temperature and wear, and prevent the color from washing off or cracking.
- Color: Cream. The manufacturer's page gives the matching reference as RAL 3012 Beige red; the on-screen color may differ. For an exact match, it is recommended to rely on the RAL code and custom mixing.
- Not suitable on its own for structural repair of complex peeling, tears, coating buildup and cracks; based on experience, additional Leather Light Filler and Heavy Filler are required.
- Before full application, test compatibility on a small, inconspicuous area.
- First clean and degrease the surface. Used to restore minor damage and color; a car seat, armrest and steering wheel are also example applications.
- Dyes can be mixed to get closer to the exact shade; for spot coloring when the color code is unknown, custom color matching is recommended.
- Depending on coat thickness and conditions, the surface starts to dry in 15–30 minutes; full curing takes 24–48 hours depending on the area and item.
