Leather Solvent Cleaner is a professional surface preparer that lightly softens the top coat before dyeing and partially removes the upper layer impregnated with foreign dye.
Features
- Designed to preserve the base dye layer while improving the adhesion of new dye and lacquer through temporary tackifying of the topcoat.
- Suitable for leather car interiors, furniture, footwear, clothing, accessories and synthetic leather.
- Test every formula on a small, inconspicuous area before full application.
- Apply a small amount to a terry or non-woven wipe and wipe the stain without pressing hard. If the stain remains, wait 10–15 minutes for it to dry and repeat.
- In preparation for dyeing, wipe a few times in one direction using a small amount of product; once the top layer has become tacky, proceed to applying dye or Leather Top Coat.
- General sequence: remove dirt with Ultimate Cleaner, deep grease with Degreaser, and a loosely bonded old coating with Solvent Cleaner or Prep. After Alcohol Cleaner, prime with Primer plus 5–10% Cross Linker X, then apply Colourant and Top Coat.
