LeTech Leather Alcohol Cleaner
Cleaner
Brand: LeTech
Leather Alcohol Cleaner is a fast-evaporating professional alcohol-based degreaser that removes oil, grease, wax and dirt from the leather surface before dyeing.
Features
- For leather car interiors, furniture, footwear and clothing; the source also includes suede and nubuck in the application list.
- Dampen a cloth with the product and wipe the surface; the source states it is designed to clean without leaving marks or stains.
- Test every formula on a small, inconspicuous area before full application.
- First clean off dirt with Leather Ultimate Cleaner; for deep grease stains use Leather Degreaser, and for a loosely adhering old coating use Solvent Cleaner or Leather Prep. Then degrease with Leather Alcohol Cleaner and prime with Leather Primer, adding Cross Linker X at 5–10% of the total volume.
- For subsequent painting, shake and mix the dye; spray in thin, even coats. Thinning with distilled water is permitted; use a 0.5–1.2 mm nozzle, 1.1–8 bar pressure depending on the equipment, compressed air free of water and oil, and a 190-micron paint filter. Sponge, brush and roller application are possible for the base coat, artwork and small local touch-ups.
- After dyeing, protect with Leather Top Coat, adding Cross Linker X at 5–10% of the total volume; a matte, semi-matte or glossy finish can be chosen. Wash tools with water, and with Leather Prep if needed.
- When mixed with Leather Ultimate Cleaner, it is stated to produce a stronger cleaner for deep stains and dye transfer; the mixing ratio is not given.
- Old stains may require reprocessing or subsequent restoration; a conditioner or protective product is recommended afterwards. A suitable dedicated product should be chosen for delicate and napped leather.
