Leather Re-Colouring Balm is a color-restoring care balm for absorbent leather; it refreshes faded color and light scratches and rub marks.
Features
- Suitable for furniture, footwear, clothing, accessories and handcrafted items made from aniline, semi-aniline, waxy/pull-up, two-tone antique and vegetable-tanned leather; not suitable for suede/nubuck.
- Designed with natural ingredients to preserve softness and flexibility and reduce the effects of water, dirt, UV and weather; the source states that once absorbed into the leather it does not wash out during use.
- Test every formula on a small, inconspicuous area before full application.
- Clean with Ultimate Cleaner, using Degreaser first for heavy grease. Shake the balm; work a small amount in with a sponge using circular motions and light pressure. Application with a brush or roller is also possible.
- Let the first coat dry for 5–10 minutes and check for missed spots or staining. Repeat once more if necessary and allow 6–12 hours for full curing.
- Once fully dry, buffing with a clean terry towel evens out the colour and adds shine. The Leather Care Kit Advanced is recommended for ongoing care.
