Leather Degreaser EXPERT LINE Vibrant Plus+ is a thick absorbent gel that draws oil and grease out from inside leather; it turns to powder as it dries.
Features
- For hair/hand grease, greasy collar marks, steering wheel, food oil and air-freshener stains on leather furniture, car interiors, clothing, footwear, bags and equestrian gear. Also designed to gently remove pen and other ink marks from leather and fabric.
- Works on a range of colours and textures, including aniline, semi-aniline, pigmented, waxy/pull-up and two-tone antique leather. Reaction with bicast leather can cause tackiness.
- Test every formula on a small, inconspicuous area before full application.
- First clean with Ultimate Cleaner. Spread it onto the stain with a brush and let it dry for about 30 minutes. It stays white over a clean area, but turns yellow, brown or black where it has drawn out grease.
- Remove the dried powder with a vacuum cleaner or a terry towel, then clean again with Ultimate Cleaner. Repeat until the dried gel stays white or the stain disappears.
- After cleaning, colour touch-up with Re-Colouring Balm or Colour Restorer may be needed depending on the leather type. Apply Protection Cream or Lotion every 3 months to reduce grease re-absorption.
- The source states it is designed to draw out foreign grease without dissolving the fats applied to the leather during manufacturing, and to improve the subsequent bonding of paint to the fibres.
