Leather Slip Additive is a water-based texture and wear additive; it is designed to improve the topcoat's resistance to friction, scuffing, abrasion, and dirt.
Features
- Formulated to preserve elasticity and softness, and vapor, heat and moisture exchange, without changing the color.
- Suitable for automotive, furniture, footwear, clothing and accessory leather; not suitable for suede/nubuck.
- Test every formula on a small, inconspicuous area before full application.
- After coloring, add 5–10% of the total volume of Cross Linker X and 7–10% of Slip Additive to the Leather Top Coat.
- Compatible additives: Leather Slip Additive, Leather Non-Slip/Wax-Effect Additive, Leather X-GUARD Additive, Leather Casein Additive and Leather Thickening Agent.
- Apply the topcoat in a thin, even layer with an airbrush/spray gun after repair and coloring; a thick coat can change the color and stiffen the leather.
- Drying depends on temperature and humidity: cautious use after 2–3 hours, full curing in 8–12 hours. Do not apply cleaning or care products during the first week.
