SOLVON halogen-free hydrocarbon-based dry-cleaning solvent.
Features
- Chemically stable; distills without decomposing, and is virtually odorless. A narrow distillation range and evaporation rate support short drying; anti-corrosion properties are indicated.
- Regularly drain the water phase of the water separator; weekly, with 2–3 liters of fresh water, flush for 2–3 minutes with the machine stopped. Water passes through the stages in about 10 minutes, supporting the conductivity sensor and the cleanliness of the sight glass. The source indicates a typical load moisture of about 5% and daily contact water of about 5 liters; clear water can still be dirty. Repeated care with distillation can reduce odor within 1–2 days.
- The manufacturer recommends PERAMON after every cleaning of the still, for a slightly alkaline pH, odor control and solvent stability.
