Hobart HS series portion-scale slicers feature a built-in scale that weighs the portion during slicing: the HS6-1PS is a manual model, and the HS7-1PS is automatic. The scale weighs up to 10 lb in 0.01 lb or 0.1 oz increments; SmartSlice lights the eye-level display green when the target weight is reached, and the HS7-1PS automatically stops the carriage and slicing. A 13" CleanCut™ blade, a 1/2 HP motor, and a Borazon® sharpener are standard.
