Hobart commercial potato peelers peel 15–60 lb of potatoes and other root vegetables, depending on the model, in under three minutes. They feature a removable silicon-carbide abrasive disc and NSF Lexan liner, a stainless steel drive shaft and housing, a lockable hopper lid that allows the process to be monitored, and manual-reset thermal overload protection. The series includes the 6115 (15 lb), 6430 (30 lb), 6460, and the timerless 6460M (50–60 lb).
