The Hobart HS series slicers are heavy-duty professional models: a 13" CleanCut™ blade with a cobalt-alloy edge, a 1/2 HP knife motor (430 RPM via a Poly-V belt), and a top-mounted Borazon® sharpener that sharpens and hones in 15 seconds. The series includes manual HS6 and HS8 models, and automatic (4 speeds, 3 stroke lengths) HS7 and HS9 models; the "N" suffix denotes a non-removable-knife version. A tilting, removable carriage and removable ring guard ensure the blade does not remain exposed during cleaning.
