The Hobart Access-CLAS semi-automatic wrapping system is designed for medium-volume meat departments: the operator hand-wraps the product and places it on the conveyor, and the CLAS automatically weighs the package and applies the label; the system processes an average of 14 packages per minute. The conveyor scale weighs up to 30 lb in 0.01 lb increments; left-to-right (CLAS-1LR) or right-to-left (CLAS-1RL) flow direction is available.
