The Hobart NGW (Next Generation Wrapper) automatic wrapping system for high-volume supermarkets automatically weighs meat and other fresh products, wraps them in PVC film, and labels them — up to 30 packages per minute. The package is automatically centered; the NGW2 selects the appropriate film for each package, while the NGW1 runs on a single film roll. A 14" color LCD touchscreen, an EPP-3 Access Prepack printer, and Linux-based controls are standard.
