The hpl 500 D-V belt sealer (without a pressure system) is designed for packaging any type of industrial product with thermoplastic polymer films, as well as compostable/biodegradable materials such as ORGANIXprotect. The device monitors critical process parameters — temperature and speed (dwell time) — which makes the sealing process validatable. Its 6 mm seam is also suitable for thermoplastic medical packaging such as header bags, but it is not suitable for packaging under ISO 11607-1 (EN 868-4, 5, 9, 10).
