The hpl 1500 MS large-format impulse sealer welds any type of thermoplastic film, including gusseted film, up to a thickness of 4 × 0.15 mm (4 × 0.006 inch), and is suitable for producing large dust covers (e.g. for mattresses). Sealing time is set on the separately positionable W.I.N.G. impulse energy unit; a built-in cutter adjusts the film length to the product. Thanks to the impulse process, the device only consumes energy while it is operating.

- Constant clamping force via two precision cams, with even temperature distribution across the full width
- Simple operation by moving one of the two process arms; stops automatically when the sealing time ends
