The hm 8000 AS/AS-V SealCut (V = validatable) is a machine that automatically produces flat and gusseted sterile pouches from standard film reels in the required quantity and length; it combines a reel dispenser with a sealing unit. According to the technical specifications, throughput reaches up to 13 cycles/min (>700 cycles/hour), and with 6 reels, a 1 s sealing time and a 100 mm pouch length, up to 4,800 pouches/hour. It is 740 mm wide and requires no infeed/outfeed clearance on the sides; the process of the hm 8000 AS-V can be validated.
