The P series are wall-mounted calenders (a calender being a roller that irons flatwork). They are simple, reliable, sturdy and cost-effective, for businesses that don't need high output but for whom the size of the investment matters — restaurants, small hotels, hostels. Heating is electric; there are two roller diameters: 180 and 250 mm. Laundry must first pass through a dryer and come down to 20–25% moisture, at which ironing quality is best. The new PLUS models, thanks to a frequency inverter, a suction system and standard Nomex ironing belts, allow slightly damper laundry to be fed in, increasing output. Being a wall-mounted machine, it fits in very tight spaces and requires no connection other than electricity.
