Features
- Contents: 100 ml Pol Star; 500 ml Allround Textile Sealant; 50 ml Crosslinker; 1 l Fresh; 1 bottle; 1 Coating Towel; 3 Cleaning & Application Sponges; 2 nitrile gloves; 1 synthetic Leatherbrush; instructions.
- Test all products first on a small, inconspicuous area.
- Wear suitable protective gloves at every stage.
- Fill the 100 ml Pol Star into an empty clear spray bottle and top up the bottle with lukewarm water. In a shaded area, spray evenly onto a dry or slightly damp textile roof, work it in and leave for 5–10 minutes; do not let it dry out. Repeat if necessary, then rinse thoroughly with clean water, including with a pressure washer, until no dirt/cleaner remains, and dry completely.
- Work the cleaner in with the synthetic Leather Brush. Cover/mask parts that will not be dyed. Shake the Nubuck Fresh and add 2% Crosslinker — 6 ml — to 300 ml of dye.
- Divide the roof into sections and dye each area evenly with the application sponge; dry fully after dyeing. Too little material can give a blotchy result; for a large roof, 1 liter of Nubuck Fresh is recommended for a double coat.
- The surface should be 10–40°C. Cover/mask parts that are not to be treated. Apply Allround Textile Sealant to the application material and work it into the entire roof in a thin, even, fully wetted coat. Keep away from rain/moisture for at least 24 hours while drying; subsequent cleaning should be gentle, and protection should be renewed once its effect diminishes.
- Apply the Sealant to a microfiber cloth and work it well into every part of the roof. Repeat the cleaning and protection steps once the protection weakens.
