COLOURLOCK Complete Leather Repair Set
Complete restoration set for smooth leather
Brand: COLOURLOCK
A kit for repairing scratches, small tears, cracks, rub marks, and fading on single-colored, semi-matte smooth leather, restoring both color and finish.

Features
- For seats, furniture, and clothing; offered as a kit sized for a full car interior or a furniture suite. 46 standard and special colors; the final care step is aimed at protection against aging/UV, with an oil treatment for extra shine and softness on older leather.
- Contents: Leather Cleaner mild and strong — 250 ml each; 100 ml Leather Care; 250 ml Degreaser; 125 ml Elephant Leather Preserver; 1 GLD-Solvent; Leather Shield and Leather Fresh — 100 ml each; 20 ml Leather Glue solvent free; 20 ml Fluid Leather.
- Tools: 2 Foamer Bottle; 10 Minibrush; 1 synthetic Leatherbrush; 1 Sanding Pad; 8 Viscose Cloth; 4 Cleaning & Application Sponge small; 2 nitrile gloves; 1 black 15 × 25 cm Backlining Cloth; 1 Spatula Flat long; instructions.
- Test all products first on a small, inconspicuous area.
- Wear protective gloves for all work. Pour Cleaner mild — or Cleaner strong for heavy dirt — into the foam bottle; apply the foam to a sponge and work seam-to-seam. Use the brush on dirt deep in the texture, remove residue with a slightly damp cloth, dry completely, and repeat if necessary.
- Smooth rough areas with the Sanding Pad. Degrease with a few drops of Degreaser on a cloth and let it air out well; adhesive tape holding firmly is given as a check of the preparation.
- Apply the adhesive thinly and sparingly, using the small brush in narrow gaps. Let it dry slightly before joining the edges of the tear, or, where possible, glue on a patch with light pressure.
- For a large tear or hole, a backing patch is essential: cut it larger than the damage, mark its center with a marker/sticker and pin it in place with a needle, spread the edges smoothly under the leather, glue, and let dry.
- Fill the damage evenly with Fluid Leather and smooth it with the spatula. Depending on coat thickness, dry for 1–2 hours at room temperature; repeat until the level is even. Shrinkage is normal; a hairdryer does not speed up drying, and this compound is not sanded.
- Correct unevenness with the GLD pen: press the felt tip a few times to dampen it, remove the excess, and work with light pressure, drying in between. Turn or replace the tip if it becomes soiled or discolored; use as little GLD as possible so the repair does not spread.
- Shake Leather Fresh and apply it seam-to-seam with a sponge using a dabbing motion; do not pour it directly onto the leather. Work only the areas that need color renewal, drying each of several thin coats with a hairdryer in between. Finally, allow 24 hours to dry.
- Intended for color renewal of small areas; work carefully around contrast-colored stitching. Application to synthetic leather and plastic is also possible. Uneven color can be carefully smoothed with the sanding pad and re-dyed.
- On leather that has dried for at least 24 hours and is clean and residue-free, apply a thin coat of Leather Care with a cloth and let it dry without polishing. Usually one coat is enough, repeating only for very dry/absorbent leather.
- Apply care every 3 months under heavy stress such as sun, heaters, and frequent use, or every 6–12 months under normal use.
- On old, stiffened leather, spread Elephant Leather Preserver with a cloth without pressure, leave it overnight, and polish well in the morning. This step is skipped if conditioning is not needed.
- Before the final Shield step, the surface must have been dry, clean, and residue-free for at least 12 hours. Spread a few drops on the cloth from the kit; repeat only for very sensitive/absorbent leather.
- Color selection consists of the categories: standard color, the car/furniture manufacturer's color, and a custom mix matched to a submitted sample. A leather sample is not required when a standard or manufacturer color is chosen.
- RAL colors can also be selected; sending a sample is not required for a RAL selection. The search can be done by color name, code, or car/furniture manufacturer name.
- The manufacturer's 46-color standard color card can be ordered free of charge. The exact furniture color name can be found on the purchase invoice, and the car color can be obtained from the dealer using the VIN. If the color cannot be found, a custom sample can be sent in.
- Sample options: a leather piece at least 1 × 1 cm, a headrest, an upholstery panel, a cushion/cushion cover, a handbag, a bellows, or another sample.
