The 484 model is an improved version of Barbanti's highly regarded shirt finisher, built on more than 20 years of experience with this type of machine. High hourly productivity, neat ironing quality and energy savings were already achieved. The new solutions applied to the 484 give further advantages in both cost and use. Reduced noise and maintaining room temperature around the machine make the workplace healthier and more comfortable — the operator does not meet hot air on every cycle.

- The heat-recovery unit returns hot air back into the ironing cycle: consumption is reduced by more than 30%, less hot air is released into the work room, and the drying air is warmer.
- On the steam-heated version, condensate recirculation returns residual heat to the system.
- The stand-by function makes it possible to pay only for the energy actually consumed.
- Barbanti touchscreen computer: piece counter, custom programs, statistics, diagnostics, and transmission of machine and productivity data.
- Optional: heated presses that quickly dry the cuff vent, standard/long-sleeve/short-sleeve arms, stand-by function, condensate recirculation.
